Opening Day of Jaguar Gaming! -- Main Theme, Zelda 64

Hey all you out there! This is the first day Jaguar Gaming has been officially on the web, so we're gonna have to start out slow. It'll still have the latest gaming roar(heh heh ... get it? Jaguar ... roar? Oh forget it.), just not yet. For now, I'm going to try to write a little Zelda 64 and Game Boy COLOR stuff.

Zelda 64 Review
Graphics - 9.6
Sound - 9.8
Play Control - 9.6
Fun - 9.9
Replay Value - 9.9
Difficulty - HARD but enjoyably so!
Overall - 9.76

GRAPHICS

- The graphics in Zelda are spectacular, sometimes photo perfect! It gives a realistic yet still fantasy feel to the game. The movements of the characters (and horses, Epona) are fluent and realistic (realistic being the overused word in this game). Special effects (notably bomb explosions and Zora's Domain water effects) are total eye candy. A graphic masterpiece! The cut-scenes give dramatic camera angles and yet more special effects!

SOUND

- Spectacular music! Almost like having an orchestra in your television. Instruments are clearly heard and non-artificial sounding. Although Link only has a series of grunts and *highya*'s, they sound real... actually, just like me when I wake up in the morning. Anyway, I think the soundtrack might be one of the best yet on any console!

PLAY CONTROL

- Fairly easy to learn with good item selection. The in game menu is also very user friendly. Only at times -- usually only when you just pick up the game -- do the controls feel rough. The new lock on feature is great in battle and to talk to far away people! It was an ingenious idea. Oh yeah! The Rumble Pak is INCREDIBLE! When Epona gallops, it is a hard rumble. At a slower pace, the rumble is a little less noticable... TRY THE Lake Hylia FISHING GAME! Magnificent! Every little tug on your line is felt!

FUN

- What more is there to say?! You must have already heard of the intricate puzzles, hack and slash swordfights, and many little quests that branch off of your main objective. Can keep you playing usually 50+ hours!!!

REPLAY VALUE

- I guess I already mentioned the mini quests and 50+ hours of play! Also, the ever renouned heart piece search is still underweigh in this game! Cleverly hidden at that.

DIFFICULTY

- The dungeons can be very trying on your patience, but you always feel satisfied after creaming that corny boss!

OVERALL

- Magnificent!

COMMENTS

- MAGNIFICENT! PERFECTION!

Game Boy Color news! Game Boy Color CAMERA?
Will there be a Game Boy Color Camera?! That's the only question I ever seem to hear about GBC. The latest news is that there will! No date has been given yet, and it is still just an idea, but I think that we may be looking toward it's arrival sometime next year.
